2025 Ford Mustang Dark Horse

The Dark Horse is the first new Mustang nameplate introduced since the Mustang Bullitt was released in 2001, and it serves as a successor to the Mustang Mach 1. It specifies a gray graphic that surrounds the LED headlamps and trapezoidal air intakes along with a revised front bumper cover, a front splitter, lower side skirts, head-on Mustang badges, and darkened quad-exhaust outlets that exit below the revised rear fascia. This example is finished in Oxford White (YZ) with black hood graphics, and exterior equipment includes hood vents, rear parking sensors, a rear wing, and sequential LED taillights. The Dark Tarnish-finished 19″ 10-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires. The car is equipped with a MagneRide damping system, and stopping power is provided by six-piston front and four-piston rear Brembo brake calipers. Brake-cooling NACA ducts and an electronic “drift brake” are standard on all Dark Horse models, and the latter locks the rear brakes with hydraulic line pressure. The heated and ventilated front seats are upholstered in black leather with Dinamica inserts and blue accent stitching, which extends to the door panels. Amenities include driver-seat memory settings, a navigation system, adaptive cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, blue seat belts, all-weather floor mats, Lane Keeping Assist, blind-spot detection, Co-Pilot360, and SYNC 4 infotainment with a 13.2″ touchscreen angled toward the driver. The leather-wrapped heated flat-bottom steering wheel fronts a configurable 12.4″ digital instrument cluster that includes readouts for speed, engine RPM, and ancillary data. The digital odometer indicates 319 miles. The 5.0-liter Coyote V8 was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 418 lb-ft of torque, and a Dark Horse-branded strut tower brace spans the engine bay. The car is equipped with an active valve performance exhaust system. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission and a 3.73:1 Torsen limited-slip differential.
